This play is Directed by Jordan Baumiller and Stage Managed by Angie Meloni. Auditions September 20th. Rehearsals will beginning October 1 and run Thursdays evenings with some Sunday afternoons. Shows December 11-13, 2026. This is through our community theatre and free to participate. Cold reads from the show will be available at auditions.

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide head-on with the story of Christmas!
This delightful show is adapted from the bestselling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for groups across the United States. The crowd-pleasing comedy features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and lots of laughs.

Join Street Lamp Community Theatre for Dear Evan Hansen auditions! September 10 and 12 with callbacks on the 12th if needed. Director Matthew Peterson, Music Director Mia Bray, Choreographer Eric Bray, Stage Manager Julie Wehner. Auditions will have cold reads and vocal auditions. Bring your instrumental/karaoke tracks. You can sing from the show or similar music. 32 bar cut. Sides will be provided.
Ages 18 and up may audition.

Shows February 5-7 and 12-14, 2027. Rehearsals will generally be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays starting at the end of October.

Street Lamp Productions (based in Rising Sun) will take the stage this Saturday, Aug. 1, for what promises to be a high energy show! It was designed with kids in mind. But we're CERTAIN kids of all ages will enjoy. So no matter your age, please come out cheer on this group of peformers who put together this show specifically because we asked back in January! We're told we're in store for some songs from Disney, some from musicals and more. Show starts at 7 p.m. Kids who come early (6:30 p.m.) can color a cardboard guitar to take home (while supplies last.) P.S. We realize this isn't necessarily the best venue to communicate with parents of today's younger kiddos. So spread the word, please and thank you.
