RISING SUN/OHIO COUNTY, IN: More Fun in Rising Sun is coming on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 4-10:30pm during the Rising Sun Stars & Stripes Celebration-Rising Sun, IN . Find the action on Front Street with bands under the Main Street pavilion. Arts & crafts. Food trucks. The Foam Zone will be on Second Street. The 360 video booth will be back too--be sure to get your free souvenir video! Live music by the Groove Masters Cincinnati and The Whammies. Deejay JD Hughes will here. Before the Flying G Fireworks & Displays at 10pm, a special tribute to the troops by the 35th Indiana Pipes & Drums and the National Anthem by Maddie C. Music . Presented by Ohio County Rising Sun / Ohio County Tourism-Indiana, Flying G Fireworks & Displays fireworks by the City of Rising Sun and the Rising Sun Lions Club. The event is sponsored in part by the Ohio County Community Foundation and City of Rising Sun. Bring your lawn chairs! We'll look for you there!

This year’s festivities include two special guest performances leading into the City of Rising Sun's America250 edition of the Flying G Fireworks & Displays at10:00pm. We welcome a local bagpiper from the 35th Indiana Pipes & Drums who will offer a moving tribute with “Amazing Grace.” Immediately following, a second special guest will perform the National Anthem.
