I always go back to spinning thick & thin singles🐑 I love that this art yarn style is simple, and yet so effective when used in a finished piece. Because of its simplicity, you can weave, knit and crochet with it and achieve really beautiful outcomes!

Getting prepared to move country has proven to be incredibly overwhelming, but I have found the opportunity to work on some personal projects that had been sitting around for a while🐑 this bobbin is filled with art batts, dyed targhee, natural BFL, dyed locks and natural merino for a beautifully fun, patchwork yarn! It is destined to be knit into something cozy to wear during the cold English winters🤪✨

Coreless corespinning on my Daedalus Magpie🐑✨
I draft a section of fiber, then only hold onto the bottom of that section as my “core”, allowing the rest of the drafted roving to wrap on its own🌀you can see my two middle fingers guiding the “core” into place. This creates (at least for me) a light, airy & rustic single with lots of personality🤎✨
