Artisan Spotlight: Gayle Rancer Metalsmith

The 2026 Mountain State Art and Craft Fair is proud to feature Gayle Rancer Metalsmith, a talented jewelry artist known for creating handcrafted pieces that are both colorful and distinctive.

Working with anodized niobium and aluminum, sparkling sterling silver, copper, and gold fill, Gayle creates unique jewelry that combines artistry, craftsmanship, and wearability. Her vibrant designs showcase a beautiful range of colors and textures, making each piece a wearable work of art.

Artisan Spotlight: Raven Hooves Farm

The 2026 Mountain State Art and Craft Fair is pleased to welcome Raven Hooves Farm, a fiber farm from Southeast Ohio dedicated to preserving the art and tradition of working with wool.

At Raven Hooves Farm, sheep are lovingly raised and their wool is transformed into beautiful handmade fiber art creations. From raw fleece to finished products, their work showcases the craftsmanship, creativity, and heritage skills that have been passed down through generations of Appalachian and rural farming communities.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover unique wool-based creations and learn more about the fascinating journey from farm to fiber art.
