My newest project, a donation piece. I've been working on this for a while and each step of the way I've felt a guiding hand. After it's completion a friend commented about the fading together of the eagle and flag having a spiritual feeling.
I don't think I've ever had a better compliment on one of my pieces.

A while back a very sweet friend of mine talked me out of my comfort zone! You see I don't feel comfortable painting people. I'm ok with animals and vegetation but not so much humans! She wanted a special piece for her niece's wedding and sent me the picture and invitation used in the wedding announcement. This is the picture I was sent and the plaque that I came up with. Thankfully they all liked it, so thank you Jean for giving me the push! I wish them wonderful years ahead!
