Cody Lamont, owner of Lamont Cross Performance Horses, of Scottsdale Arizona, specializes in training professional level cutting, roping, and working cow horses from their first handling on the ground to their first showing experience and all aspects in between. Cody, originally from Australia, first came to the United States in 2009 to learn from Al Dunning. As opportunities in the horse training

industry opened for Cody, he became an assistant to Al in 2010. Throughout Cody's years as a cutting horse trainers assistant, Cody has accomplished many goals in and out of the show pen. He has earned a recent title as the Western Nationals Open Champion of 2013 aboard Zack and Blue, one of two horses he had the opportunity of helping achieve world titles in the cutting industry. After 6 years of assisting and learning from cutting icon, Al Dunning, Cody is comfortable and confident in his passion and knowledge of the equine industry. As of 2015 Cody and his wife Majerle are excited and eager to start their new business, training elite performance horses of all ages and disciplines, as well as assisting non pro and amateur riders succeed in their desires as horsemen and showmen.

The Vegas Bound Classic in Temecula, CA, proved to be an outstanding show, with our team securing over $4,500 in winnings. We couldn't be anymore proud of the group of horses we took.

As I reflect on a long weekend at the Arizona Cutting Horse Association May Madness, I am filled with such gratitude.

Team LCPH rode hard with some great competition and brought home some top places over the weekend.
