Just received some more wonderful fine art prints from FinerWorks.com! Beautiful prints, beautifully packaged. Sometimes my assistants can be a little rough unboxing (they get so excited) but these artworks were well protected. They'll be available soon at The Fountain Hills Artists Gallery and On The Edge Gallery in Scottsdale.

I'm so excited to announce that "White Winged Dove" was juried into this year's Birds In Art at the Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, WI. There were 1108 artworks submitted by 672 artists internationally and only 101 pieces were selected!!! Wow!! I'm so honored to be able to participate again.

The White Winged Dove is a common sight here in my neck of the Sonoran desert, so much so that it is easy to overlook just how beautiful they are. This one here shows off its range of colors in the reflection of the sunlight as it's perched on a cholla skeleton.
