Off The Ropes - OTR - New Mexico Wrestling

Off The Ropes Pro Wrestling owner Gino “ToldYouSo” Rivera continues to carry on the philosophies, discipline, and knowledge passed down to him by the 11 respected trainers who helped shape his career. Trained under the Santino Bros Wrestling Academy system by Joey Kaos, Mongol Santino, Supreme, Angel Exotico, Robby Phoenix, Rico Dynamite, Steve Pain, Clay Motley, Carnage, Jezebel, and BC Killer, Gino learned from some of the toughest and most experienced names in independent wrestling. Today, Rivera remains a constant force in professional wrestling, helping develop the next generation of stars in Albuquerque, New Mexico through Off The Ropes Pro Wrestling. Known as the oldest, longest running, and most successful wrestling school in the area, Off The Ropes has produced students who can now be seen wrestling all across the country carrying on the same hard working mentality and wrestling philosophy taught to Gino years ago. “You’re not just learning from me, you’re learning from them.” says the veteran grappler.

Gino Rivera began training in 2008 at SANTINO BROS WRESTLING ACADEMY in Norwalk, California, under the direction of Joey Munoz. What started as a dream soon turned into a lifelong dedication to professional wrestling. Trained and coached by Kaos, Mongol, Supreme, Angel Exotico, Robby Phoenix, Rico Dynamite, Steve Pain, Clay Motley, Eddie Carnage, Jezebel, and BC Killer, Rivera built his foundation inside one of Southern California’s toughest independent wrestling systems.

“The best decision I ever made was joining the school,” Rivera reflected. From his early days learning bumps, fundamentals, and ring psychology at Santino Bros to becoming one of the most versatile and accomplished in ring performers in independent wrestling today, Gino Toldyouso has stayed committed to the grind ever since that first bell rang.
