Rio Rancho Players Our mission: cultivate the creative energy of the diverse citizens of RR to produce quality theatre

We double cast roles as much as possible so we can involve as many people as possible. We also need people for crew, set design, set building, costuming, make-up, concessions, ushering, etc. Rio Rancho Players is a program of Rio Rancho Creative Crossroads, a 501(c)(3) registered in NM and licensed by the city of Rio Rancho.

Rio Rancho Players presents “It Happened At The Airport” – two short plays: The Layover, by Tracy Wells and Airport Encounters, by Scott Mullen.

Performances will run from April 10th through April 26th, at our new performance space at 1640A 528/Pat D’Arco Hwy in Rio Rancho. Tickets are $25, and senior, student, military, and educator tickets are $20.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.rr-cc.org or at any one of the 3 remote ticket locations: Beast N’ Nuggets Doggie Daycare, Furniture Cottage, and Beyond Mail N’ Print. Tickets can also be purchased at the theater one hour prior to the curtain.

It Happened At The Airport - short plays presented by Rio Rancho Players

Rio Rancho Players presents “It Happened At The Airport” – two short plays: The Layover, by Tracy Wells and Airport Encounters, by Scott Mullen. Produced and directed by Mel Sussman, these fun-filled, sometimes poignant and suspenseful plays feature an ensemble cast of 23 both experienced and new additions to the theater stage.
