Hot off the press! This is an interactive book the reader records their adventures, goals and plans. Games include BINGO, Word Search, SUDOKU, Word Scramble, and some coloring pages to keep you occupied when the fish aren’t hunting. Artwork is by Jadee Christiansen, granddaughter of Jim and Dee Urbatsch,Osage, IA. She’s so talented. You get a sheet peek of what’s inside from the front and back covers.

Washed, dried and lint-free no cut rag quilt. I did cut 4 8” width of fabric strips x 2 (8 strips total) for the border. This quilt took me 2 hours to name and then additional time to wash, dry and run the lint roller over it.

I couldn’t find bee flannel, so I will add embroidery and appliqué designs to 8 of the squares on Friday. Gifting will happen in Saturday. It’s going to one of my nieces for her new baby arriving in September.

The “ragging” snips were 1/8” wide and I left about 1/4” near the seams. I double stitched around the border. This is only the second quilt I’ve made.

Now making adult clothes! I’ll have a few vests and jackets ready to view/sell at Anniversary Celebration Oct 1-3. A handmade Christmas Craft show will be hosted at the Ringsted Legion the same days! Still looking for someone who sells wooden items and candles… anyone make jewelry? Call me to reserve booth space. Display ads with listing if participating crafters will be in Sept 8 papers. Cats ready to iron on felt and make matching game to strengthen short-term memory. It’s a great quiet game. The set will be complete with a drawstring bag to hold all the pieces.

I’m working on samples for Kids Club projects fall semester. I have 8 spots for Kids Club that meets on North Union early out Wednesdays. Lots of variations of this time honored game. We played it with a deck of cards. Starting out with a few pairs and then increasing until we used all 52 cards.

All are bound and have pocket or tuck spots on the inside front and back cover. The Milk Duds journal has only 1 signature, so I added more pages and a folder!! Now on to do a little decorating and add a few surprises to a few pages to encourage journaling. Maybe this could be an Elf gift for a class at North Union. These were gens from softball season. I won”t eat enough candy to generate these for all the kids😂.

Crochet hair scrunchies… if you’ve been thinking about making gifts, you could complete a couple of these designs as homework after lesson 2… just a thought. I’m amazed to see Christmas in July posts already. I’ll have some for sale in many different colors and patterns at the Anniversary Celebration Oct 1-3. We’ll celebrate Thursday through Saturday!!
