Riley Township Park and Recreation

Riley Township Park and Recreation Park & Recreation Meetings are held every 4th Monday of the Month at Riley Township Hall located at 13016 Belle River Road. Public welcomed to attend!

The Park & Recreation committee consists of a maximum of six residents and a Board Trustee. The committee is responsible for all aspects of park maintenance, improvements, as well as planning and organizing the annual Fall Festival. Our budget consists of revenue sharing from St. Clair County. These funds pay for park maintenance and the Fall Festival. New projects are financed with remaining coun

ty dollars, grants, and private contributions. Small communities such as ours have a limited ability to win grants. Park & Recreation welcomes donations from businesses, families, and individuals. Recently, a private donation of $10,000 was received to help finance the walking path. A Memorial Bench Program was launched as a way to pay tribute to a loved one and keep their memory alive. Contact the office or visit the township website at www.rileytownship.com for more information. The field that borders two sides of the township complex is part of the park and available for future development. Our current project is a Kids Climbing Fitness Zone. Future projects include a sledding hill, a sensory/educational area for children, and an extension to the walking path. All projects are designed to be assessable to people of all ages and abilities.
