🇺🇸 As we celebrate Independence Day, it seems only fitting to share Ashley Nelson's beautiful rendition of our National Anthem from Rattle the Canyon.
For four years now, Ashley has opened Rattle the Canyon with a heartfelt tribute that reminds us why we gather—not just for the music, but for our community and the freedoms we enjoy.

Ten years ago, John Belton had an idea.
That idea became Rattle the Canyon 2016.
Many of us also know John as the guy who made us laugh at Hot Summer Nights—as ZZ Top, Eagle John, the Captain from Captain & Tennille, Jerry Lee Lewis, Liberace and more.
But behind the costumes, the humor, and the music were countless volunteer hours, carpentry projects, and a vision for bringing our community together.
Last Saturday, during Rattle the Canyon, we had the privilege of surprising John with a toast to thank him for that vision.
Rattle the Canyon has helped raise the funds that made our City Park stage possible, and every concert and memory created here is part of that legacy.
John, thank you for dreaming big, working hard, and giving this community something that will be enjoyed for years to come. ❤️

It doesn't happen by magic... it happens because people show up.
From raising tents to hanging flags, inflating bouncy horses and taking care of a hundred little details, this community continues to amaze me.
Every ticket purchased helps turn volunteers' hard work into a night our community can enjoy—and continues building the Riggins City PARK Stage for years to come.

These guys checking off projects for Saturday's Rattle the Canyon.
Fencing is up, the stage is getting spruced up, and they're on it. The stage, food, and beverage areas are covered, and guests are welcome to bring a small pop-up tent for their group if they'd like.
Rain or shine, we're looking forward to a great evening of music and community in Riggins. 🎸
