Due to summer slow down at the Ridgeley Legion ⭐⭐I have taken initiative⭐⭐ to ONLY do karaoke on Saturday nights, except when there is a band. This change will begin July 5th. There will be NO karaoke on the 5th and I WILL be there the 6th.

I have always, ALWAYS had this veterans organizations' best interest in mind. This is a reflection of that.
..let's not get it twisted

(I will NOT be pursuing other karaoke jobs. Thank you in advance.)

My Story

I have been playing karaoke at the Ridgeley American Legion for over 15 years. It was a welcome change from dragging equipment from bar to bar 4 days a week. Throughout the years, things have changed. Crowds have changed. Faces disappear and new faces arrive. Things evolve. I have evolved to meet the demands and now will be playing music on Saturday nights. My choice.

I do not like to call myself a “dj” because frankly, I am not.

DJ’s work hard for what they do, learning new equipment that looks like a ferrari under the hood. I admire and have watched videos of women DJ’ing for hours on end. It is fascinating to watch. I am jealous. Maybe I will learn the ways. It is on the bucket list.

On the bright side - I DO LOVE MUSIC and I am more than happy to play what anyone wants to hear. I never had the time to sit and listen to tunes and always took peoples advice on what to play. So there ya have it. (as long as there are no “f**ks” in the lyrics that is)
