Meet Susan Wellington, one of our featured artists for September’s Sunday Series.

Rooted in Mississippi, Susan finds inspiration in the quiet landscapes of her home state and in the places she encounters through travel. She often paints en plein air and from life—a practice she believes is essential to truly “learning to see.”

In this video, Susan shares more about her work, her process and the landscapes that continue to inspire her.

Join us Sunday, September 27, from 2–4 p.m. to meet Susan and see her work in person, along with featured artists Grace Buchanan and Orian Williams.

When master pastelist Mandy Ellard comes to the Women’s Summit for a painting demonstration—and sells every piece she creates—you know it’s been a great day!

We also spent time brainstorming future classes with Mandy at Left Bank Gallery, including a possible “Dueling Artists” class. We can’t wait to share more.

Until then, come see Mandy’s beautiful pastel works at Left Bank Gallery.
