Left Bank hit the road today for the Loyola Art Show in Mobile—and what an incredible show!

We’re so proud to be here supporting three of our Left Bank artists: Jessica Metz, Caleigh Parsons, and Julia Walsh. Seeing their work alongside so much talent from across the region makes us even more excited about what’s happening in the art world right now.

And, of course, we’ve been scouting. 👀 We met so many amazing new artists whose work we hope you’ll be seeing at Left Bank very soon.

Kinda chic is…

Starting a new business in your 50s.
Being friends with other galleries instead of competing with them.
Partnering with your neighbors because everybody does better when everybody does better.
Throwing lots of after-hours parties because art is better with people in the room.
Learning as you go. Changing things when they don’t work. And not taking yourself too seriously.

We’re building Left Bank a little differently—more collaboration, more community, more conversation, and hopefully a whole lot of fun along the way.

Is it the traditional way to run an art gallery? Maybe not.

But it’s kinda chic. ✨

Serena sits down with Ann Seale for our latest Sunday Series conversation—and gives us a closer look at the artist behind the work.

A Mississippi native with a background in art education, Ann has spent years developing her practice through both teaching and continued study. Her path has taken her from the University of Mississippi to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Art Students League of New York, as well as study with artists including Bob Tompkins and David Leffel. Her work has also been exhibited at the Mississippi Museum of Art.
