Drawing Faces and Features with Michelle Schaffer: Tuesdays 9:00am-11:00am

This workshop is appropriate for artists at every level. In this workshop we will review the guidelines for drawing faces and features as well as focusing on breaking down the human form in a way that is approachable for those wishing to draw people from life. This class aims to give you the skills to attend open drawing sessions with confidence.

An Exploration into Abstraction with Karen Pellecchia Tuesdays 5:30pm-8:00pm

Using the medium of choice, students will explore the road to abstraction. Experimentation of space, surface, color, proportion, and mark-making will be
encouraged. Using art historical references and inspiration, students will develop an individual language of abstraction.

Gelli Printmaking with Kristen Terrana-Hollis: Fridays 9:30am-12:30pm

Join us for a hands-on introduction to Gelli printing that focuses on the playful and experimental possibilities of printmaking. This class will focus on process and exploring a variety of techniques, including layering, stenciling, printing with found objects, photo transfers, and collage. You’ll have plenty of time to try new things and develop your own unique prints while learning how different materials interact.

Due to issues with our website, we have extended the Annual Juried Show deadline to TONIGHT, Sunday August 22nd, until MIDNIGHT.

For those of you have submitted last night after 8pm and did not receive a confirmation, please reach out to [email protected] to make sure your submission is complete.
