We're so excited that our reworked version of ALMOST FAMOUS that thrilled audiences last fall here at A.C.T. of CT is now available for licensing! It was incredible to watch our Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine, Music Supervisor Bryan Perri, Composer Tom Kitt, and Academy Award Winner Cameron Crowe work so very hard on this brand new version, and we are excited that it will live on!! Congratulations Tom Kitt and Cameron Crowe - We can't wait to see this gorgeous show in theaters across the country and around the world!!!

We have been working on a very special project at A.C.T. of CT this summer that just wrapped — a brand-new movie musical, UNSILENCED. The project grew out of a years-long relationship between A.C.T. Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine, Donna Palomba, and Jane Doe No More (JDNM), whose extraordinary mission is centered around empowering survivors to find their voices and advance their healing. Conceived, written and directed by Daniel, with music and lyrics by David Friedman, and music direction by Bryan Perri, UNSILENCED brings together an incredible cast of Broadway artists (Donna Vivino, Pearl Sun, Angel Lozada, Kyrie Courter, Laura Woyasz, John Devereaux, Shaylen Harger, Ruthy Froch, SJ Nelson) to tell stories of courage, resilience, healing, hope, and the power of being heard. We are so proud that A.C.T. was home to this incredibly meaningful project, and so grateful to JDNM and the entire company who brought it to life. Filming has wrapped, but this is only the beginning of this exciting and meaningful project!!!

We’re so proud of these five amazing students from our Summer Teen Conservatory who had the opportunity to perform at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum on July 31! We loved being a part of the Aldrich’s Happy Hour series (catch them every Friday from 4-7!), and we’re so grateful to them for having us. We love supporting our fellow arts organizations in Ridgefield!

Last weekend, our 2nd-7th grade Summer Stars let their "freak flags fly" in Shrek the Musical for Kids!! What an incredible couple of weeks at A.C.T. of CT. We are so proud of these incredible kids!

Our Summer Teen Conservatory performance was a blast! And if you're already missing it, never fear - there are more opportunities to sing with us at A.C.T. of CT!

Registration for our Youth Choir is open now on our website (link in bio)! Open to 2nd-9th graders, this program gives students a chance to develop healthy techniques while exploring a variety of musical genres. Both sessions (Fall and Spring) conclude with a concert performance on the A.C.T. of CT stage.

Meet the team behind our Summer Stars program! These three incredible artists are making fantasy a reality as they guide our amazing 2nd through 7th grade students through the rehearsal process of Shrek the Musical for Kids!

Our Director/Choreographer (center) is Amber Voeller, an actress, singer, and theatre educator based in New York City. Maya Fortgang (left), a recent graduate of Ithaca College, joins us as the Assistant Director/Choreographer. And last but not least, Deborah Penn (right), a familiar face at A.C.T. of CT from our Youth Choir program, is serving as the Music Director!
