Rain on a wedding day is said to be good luck. Monsoon and 50+ mph winds… let’s make it guaranteed luck. Our newlyweds were married in the Catskills with one of the most beautiful backdrops. As we prepared for their introductions, a severe thunderstorm made its way in, putting a “rain delay” in place for their tent reception while their guests took shelter and waited for the storm to pass. Where was the bride and groom during all of this you ask? Making sure their guests were eating, grabbing drinks at the bar, making sure their guests were not only ok, but having a great time while having one hell of a story to tell!

Once the storm cleared, the vendors adjusted schedule and the show went on like it was all part of the plan.

It’s truly amazing when you see so many people come together to work together to make sure someone’s big day goes off without a hiccup, especially in situations like this.

Mr. & Mrs. Rugar, you guys were amazing to work with, and we wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness together!

There’s nothing better than a backyard wedding with amazing people and a beautiful setting! Our newlyweds were married amongst their closest friends and family in a beautiful wooded setting right in their own back yard, then danced the night away to give the neighbors something to talk about for weeks!

With a baby on the way, this couple was already surrounded by so much love, and this reception gave all of the guests even more reason to celebrate. From the amount of DIY to family and friends chipping in their expertise, this wedding gave a whole new meaning to the phrase “come together.”

From a strong firefighter background with to their work with children and everything in between, this couple made their wedding day a celebration for more reasons than their marriage, even asking for guests to leave their flowers as they were ALL donated to local children and nursing homes.

From the banks of the Great Shore Bay, this couple made a rainy day not even a thought in anyone’s mind. From family to friends, this group lit the room up like it was a summer day, giving it the best start to the holiday weekend.
