Collection: Wild Hearted Dreams

I just realized I’ve never really explained my recent collection, Wild Hearted Dreams.

I think, at its heart, this series is about the part of us that we forgot somewhere along the way.

The dreamer. The wanderer. The curious one. The woman who still notices strange light through a window, gets lost in the colors of the sunset reflecting in a puddle, follows an idea just because it feels like something magical, and stubbornly believes that there should probably be a little more magic in ordinary life.

Things currently living in my studio:

Ideas, Inspiration, creative chaos,
an unreasonable number of gold frames,
three tiny wooden people with questionable intentions,
approximately 7,000 books,
a palette I refuse to clean (because apparently it has become an archaeological relic), flowers, half-finished paintings, new art supplies, old ideas, new ideas, half finished ideas… and absolutely no clear surfaces 😂

Basically equal parts art studio, library, curiosity cabinet & creative crime scene.

What should we investigate first?

Yesterday’s surprise birthday trip was perfect.

Sunshine, water, good food, nature, hiking, reading, sketching, connecting, and magical butterflies everywhere. ☀️🦋🏝️
