Friday, May 29th, rehearsal @ Open Bible Christian Center.

Pre-ballet/Intro to ballet 1: 3:45-4:45 p.m.

Ballet 1/Hip Hop 1: 4:45-5:45 p.m.

Ballet 2/Jazz 1/Team: 5:45-6:45 p.m.

All Riddle Roundhouse students: 6:45-7:45 p.m.

This is a dress rehearsal. Please bring your costumes and a water with you. If you are a dancer and you have an old pair of ballet shoes, please wear your old shoes to the rehearsal.

Saturday, May 30th, rehearsal @ Open Bible Christian Center: All Students: 1-4:30 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Don't forget your water bottles, your snacks with NO PEANUTS, and your costumes & props. Your dance shoes must be clean and ready to perform. Make sure you have a change of clothes you can eat in. After recital, all costumes will need to be returned to me, unless you have been invited to do Team this summer. Ballet students: Girls -- pink ballet shoes, pink tights, tan bras for older girls, tan underleotard for students with costume changes, and hair up and recital ready with whatever hairstyle your group is supposed to have. Boys -- black ballet shoes. Martial arts students: Make sure your uniforms are clean and you wear light- colored underwear. Please make sure your feet are clean before performance. RR W/Y Girls -- need white T-shirts for under your uniforms.

Recital starts at 5 p.m. and doors will open at approximately 4:45 p.m.

Thank you to everyone who is bringing cookies or water this year. I think we have enough volunteers now! Students who are continuing over the summer: We will be taking a small one-week break before returning with the new schedule. The new schedule will begin on June 10th! See you then. Please let me know if you will be returning this summer or fall by the 28th; after that, your spot will be given to someone on our waiting list.

We will still be having classes on Memorial Day! Let us know if you are unable to attend. We have also decided to go ahead with summer classes this year. Please let us know if you would like to return this summer or fall to have your spots saved.

Reminder: May tuition is due. We are still in need of volunteers to bring cookies and waters to the recital. Please let us know if you are interested. Still looking to see who is planning to return for summer or fall classes. Students who are not on the list will be replaced with incoming students as of May 28th. Sparkle the Bear will be in our Nimbly store until June 1st! Don't forget to order yours before it's too late. Make sure all your girl dancers have their pink tights and pink ballet shoes ready to go on stage!

Today is the last day for our current students to sign up and get entered into our drawing for one free $35 class for June. Please let us know if you are interested in continuing this summer!

This is the first year we have not had very many confirmations for people to take summer classes. If I do not get your polls or get a verbal confirmation or text to confirm your child will be participating in summer or fall classes by May 15th, I will assume your child will no longer be continuing with us. If we do not get enough confirmations for summer classes this year, we will be forced to close our doors for the first time this summer, as we do not have enough people to cover the rental costs for the building. We do have students signed up to return this fall and we will be ready to open our doors back up then! Please let us know if you would like to continue this summer or fall ASAP so we can get our schedule confirmed and inform everyone else involved. Thank you!

The winner of our summer drawing will be announced tomorrow. If we are unable to continue this summer, the amount will apply to fall classes.

So far, I do not have any volunteers to bring cookies or water to the recital this year. If you are interested, please let me know. It's a great help to us and a good way to support/make a donation to the studio! When you let us know, it helps us to keep track so we have enough and not an overage of stuff we have to take home.

Parents of current students: Please turn in the polls we sent home with you or confirm the classes you would like to take this summer or fall. If you turn in your information by April 30th and you are planning on taking summer classes, you will be entered into our drawing for this year. If you do not let us know whether you will be returning by May 28th, your spot will be given to a new incoming student, so please let us know ASAP whether you are returning in the summer or the fall.

Reminder: Tuition is due this week.

We will be measuring students this week for costumes for our upcoming recital. This is going to make classes run a little slowly, so please be patient with us.

Dates to remember:
March 16-20: Crazy hair week! This is a fun week in the studio. Come with your craziest hairstyles.

March 23-27: We are taking off spring break at the studio. We hope you enjoy your family plans over the break! Although we are on break, please have your child practice their dance/dances for the upcoming recital.

May 29th-30th. This is a tentative date and may be subject to change. We will be having rehearsals on May 29th and 30th, as well as our recital on the 30th. We will be performing at Open Bible Christian Center here in Riddle. We are waiting to get a confirmation from the guy who runs our music for us to make sure he is available those dates. More information to come as I get the details confirmed.
