Full disclosure: I love what I do, I am passionate about clay + crafting one of a kind works of art that can be used and cherished for a lifetime but I also run BEAR as a one woman operation while working two other jobs. Clay is a therapeutic outlet but this time of year it can lean more heavily toward production + business. I strive to make each piece with peace, love, + intention, and to maintain that I have to set boundaries. I am not accepting any more custom orders at this time but am happy to entertain them after the holidays. If you would like custom, I can offer gift cards in time for gifting this holiday😊 thank you so so much for your continued love + support. Happy Thanksgiving, loves! I am so grateful for all of you and your love and support of my craft. I do not take it for granted 💛 This holiday can quickly turn into a commercially driven weekend full of consumption but I hope you can find time to pause | reflect | and take stock of blessings, big + small. I wish everyone a weekend of reprieve + rest. Take it easy, take care of yourself and your loved ones💛 my goal is to sit (and not feel guilty about it) and enjoy time with family💛💛💛

Clay holds a strong + steady fascination for me but I find myself equally enamored with processes in other media. I love tangible sequence and manual manipulation to create something new that didn’t exist before. Objects made with intention 〰️ modern day artifacts that can stand the test of time. I had so much fun messing around with the wet collodion plate process, commonly known as tintype. Grateful for opportunities to play, grow, and try new things. Make time for your curiosities 〰️☺️

There’s really no better compliment than when a fellow artist admires + appreciates your work + aesthetic. Especially a talented artist like who works in the same medium with the same material day in and day out! The genuine love + support I found in the clay community is unlike anything I have found anywhere else. It’s what drew me in and led me to switch majors at into . Such a treat to spend time around fellow creatives and be in awe of their talent and unique perspectives and approaches to making and creating. So giddy to have the chance to trade work + talk craft 🥰
