y’all had so much fun last time that we’re running it back at Gallery5 💋

beginner-friendly line dancing starts at 7:30 sharp with instruction provided 🕺
and i’ll never forget y’all CHEERING every time the room finally nailed a new dance last time 😂😭 one of my favorite pair club moments!

but this time we’re adding a little extra whimsy 🪄

poppy v is coming to pop the bubble 🫧🤡✨

we all know dating apps are full of clowns, but Poppy is an actual clown, and she’s bringing her bubble magic + supplies to keep us entertained between dances

🏝️🎉 ONE YEAR OF PAIR CLUB 🎉🏝️

okay... this one is a little crazy

one year ago we hosted our very first singles event!

fast forward one year, thousands of introductions, countless friendships (and a few relationships 😉)

and now we’re throwing the biggest party we’ve ever hosted

on a private island

yes, an actual island

thanks to Andy at Sharp’s Island for being master coordinator 💛

we’ve hired boats to ferry you across to sharp’s island where we’ll spend the afternoon swimming, dancing, exploring, and celebrating one incredible year of bringing people together

our friend Burl Faircloth will be spinning house music while we dance on one of richmond’s hidden gems

expect beaches, giant rocks, shady hangout spots, a gazebo, outdoor living room, good people, and summer memories you’ll be talking about long after the season ends!

🚤 transportation to the island is included with your ticket. we’ll also have canoes available, and you’re welcome to paddle over by kayak or paddleboard if you have one!!

🍻 byob
🌞 bring a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen, and anything else you need for an afternoon on the river.
🧊 please skip bulky coolers if you’re taking the boats over - we’ve only got so much room!

this party has never been done on sharp’s island before, and i couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate our first birthday 🍰 we will have cake 💕

thank you to everyone who’s supported pair club this past year, all the organizers and businesses, ily 🫶

this community exists because of you!

our most stacked month to date!

august is looking juicy 🧃🥥🍑🍋‍🟩🥭🍋‍🟩🍉

because it’s officially our birthday month 🧁

our first events were actually in september
🐝but the buzz began last august when I hit the streets with a cardboard sign that said “single?” swipe to see💕

since starting pair club we have learned so much and the events scene in Richmond is now blowing up with more creativity than ever!

my hope is that pair club continues to inspire others to go after what they want, be open, curious and authentically themselves.

kindness and creativity are free, let’s keep bringing that energy into all of life!

we are all smiles at our event Triple Crossing Beer a few weeks ago!

people walk into our events and ask, “does everyone know each other here?”

the answer is, “no, most of these people are meeting for the first time and most people show up alone!”

our events are different and it’s not really something I can put into words, it’s something you have to feel out in-person

if you have been curious, it’s time to risk it for the biscuit baby

life doesn’t happen from the sidelines and all your questions won’t be answered on Instagram, you might actually need to investigate for yourself 🕵️‍♀️

with ai photos and ai flyers it’s impossible to tell which events are really worth attending, but you can ask around because word of mouth doesn’t lie
