Supporting two of our own
Many of you know Claudia Russell and Bruce Kaplan from their performances in Point Richmond and across the Bay Area—but you may know them just as well from the other side of the stage.
Bruce serves on the PRM board, has designed many of our graphics and has emceed many PRM concerts. Claudia is one of the friendly volunteers who helps keep things moving behind the bar. Together, they’ve been part of the Point Richmond Music community for more than 15 years.
They’re now finishing Rocket to the Moon, their first album since 2018. They’ve spent two years creating it with producer Julie Wolf and a remarkable group of musicians.
Their Kickstarter has raised $9,396 toward its all-or-nothing goal of $10,980, so they’re getting very close. You can become a backer for as little as $11, which includes the digital album. The funds will help cover mixing, mastering, manufacturing and promotion.
If you’ve enjoyed Claudia and Bruce onstage—or appreciated their contributions behind the scenes—please take a look, listen to a couple of the new songs and see if you’d like to help them bring this record into the world:
Claudia Russell, Bruce Kaplan, and producer Julie Wolf team up to make an epic album of memorable musical moments.
