This is a hard post to put out there. While Ply is located safely in downtown Richmond, our home is not and was caught in the flood path a few days ago. We have much to be grateful for. Our family is safe, along with our animals, we have family to stay with and friends to help us, and we were able to recover many of our possessions that were above water. We’ll have much work ahead of us to be able to get back home though. All that to say, I can’t anticipate how this might affect Ply over the next few months. We will have the shop back open today and tomorrow, and then be closed for two weeks as planned. The time we had set aside for inventory work, fall ordering, and class prep will be dedicated to attempting to clear debris and remediate our home. I’m asking in advance for some patience on how this might impact our busy season of classes, events, and shopping. Thank you and take care, everyone. -Sam
