It’s been a while since I studied sculpting. I started in my teenage years in Budapest, Hungary, where I fell in love with sculpting the human figure—shapes, faces, and expressions.

Over the years I created several pieces, but this is the one I have here with me. I made it at@arrowmont_school School of Arts and Crafts with my wonderful supporter and friend, It remains one of my most special memories. ✨

Self-image. I captured myself as a little girl: serious, confused, balanced, grumpy.
A life of luxury and hard work is reflected in every stroke.

The feelings of shame, embarrassment, and mockery inspired me to express them on these faces.
Ink, pencil, and watercolor on paper.
I’m grateful I immortalized them—they remind me of how far I’ve come.

It’s been a while since I painted my Four Seasons series — and Winter has always been my favorite. ❄️

The mix of different media and textures truly brings out the beauty and feeling of the cold season. I painted delicate snowflakes, elements of nature, and human faces to tell the story of winter.

One sleeping face represents the quiet beauty of hibernating nature — a peaceful rest before rebirth. The open-eyed human profile reflects the living energy that remains even as the world turns cold. Between them stands a tree, symbolizing the connection between sleeping and living nature.

The snowflakes — each unique in shape — shimmer not just in white, but in layers of sparkling metallic colors, capturing the quiet luxury of winter’s light. ✨

My Spring and Summer paintings each speak their own story of renewal and warmth. I never finished my Autumn piece — life interrupted me, and as a sensitive artist, I’ve yet to find the mood to complete it.

Maybe one day, when inspiration returns. 💫

🐾 I love cats! 🐱They’re like sweet starlight candies—smart, independent, playful, and full of personality. The perfect mix of elegance and mischief all wrapped up in a furry housemate. 💕🐾
And this is how I illustrated our cats at home—capturing them during sleep in my own unique style. 🎨🐈

One-line moments are one of my most enjoyable art forms.
These sketches capture moments that lasted just a second—or up to a minute. I had to complete many of them from memory, with only seconds to move on to the next motion. Like a movie script, I tried to capture as much as I could, because the kids were constantly on the go.
From my son Levente, turning on the TV, and watching his favorite robot cartoon… to our cat, Ficny, or Levente napping, to the dynamic movements of my older son Bence and his karate buddies – each line tells a little story.

No edits. No erasures. Just the rhythm of life, drawn with a single line.

My favorite spot in the whole world: MY STUDIO.
Without this place, I’d feel lost. Every corner and surface holds a project I’m working on. This is where my imagination comes to life—whether it’s a painting or a three-dimensional, functional fashion piece. I nourish my creativity with what I create, constantly building on my ideas to make them more practical, inspired by nature or reimagined human concepts. I’m sure you have a place like this too—where you walk in and feel wild, alive, and full of purpose.

Big thanks to the Buxton family for the lovely article—and for trusting me with the third portrait of their grandchild (plus their adorable pup, Pickle!)
