St. John's Community Players

St. John's Community Players Community Theatre Group since 2006 St. John's Players began in 2006 as a community theatre. Our season consists of three shows per year.

We produce a fall musical, a spring cabaret, and a summer youth musical. Our theatre is open to the entire community.

Meet Anita our Director and founding Siren!

Anita Sharpenstein (retired teacher, Gigi, & feral housewife) believes deeply in amplifying women’s voices—not just during Women’s History Month, but always. She is profoundly grateful to this fierce, talented group of women who use their voices in song to spotlight women’s stories and remind us of the vital role women have played in history - herstory. We will keep raising our voices because they didn’t burn witches; they burned women.
