Tonight’s the night! Join us and Mike Henry for the opening reception of “Barbara Sullivan: A Retrospective” from 5 to 8 pm in the gallery and loft 209.

For those who knew Barbara, sat for her, or grew up with one of her portraits in their home, the exhibition is a chance to see familiar work gathered together and celebrate her legacy. For visitors discovering her for the first time, it introduces an artist who spent decades looking carefully at people and nature, painting what she saw.

We’re loving Kris Iden on our courtyard wall!!🐦‍⬛🌟💙

These multi-plate intaglio prints draw inspiration from a range of artistic and literary forms, including children’s books, John Cage, and poetry. Kris also incorporates imagery and printing plates from her earlier work here!

Many of the prints connect to both Richmond and Dresden, Germany, where Kris began creating some of them.

The feature will be up through September 20th, so come by in person to see the pieces
and learn more about Kris’s process!

And there’s more to come from Kris in October! 👀❇️
