Lets Goooooo! has come once again! I have a bunch of new colors and some new surprise products. I’m over in A-18 with a nice corner booth and a sweet breath of fresh air from outside. Oh, it’ll be rainy outside, but cozy and fun inside. Come have a chat and grab some gifts for your lucky friends, or your lucky self. A few pics of a very California-modern countertop collaboration with .fabrication. This piece had it all: really cool clients, weld-in seamless sink, 30” of on-site butt welding (came out so clean), and a nice tight third floor walk-up. Just try and find a seam. Ya can’t! It’s too dang clean. A perfect example of how sometimes making effortless-looking work takes so much highly skilled effort. 3/16” stainless steel. So nice.
Always working, never posting, but this one got me.

NEW PRODUCT AVAILABLE ON THE SITE! Do you have a chair, but nowhere to put a beverage and a book? Or perhaps your tablet or laptop? This isn’t for eating a banquette or playing board games, but it’s really great for what it’s intended use: one or two items you want access to next to your chair or couch. Also great for plants or bedside.

These noodley shaped tables are another thing that the lovely came up with the idea for. I love working together with her on these fun little products.

Both copper and white are powder coated for durability (not actual copper, but a fun color powder with wee flecks in it). Comes in a sweet pink box with super simple directions and a little allen wrench - just like the big guys, only better and much more hand-made.

11.75” width top, 19” height, 8” width base (these are the roundy dimensions, the noodley ones are similar). The base is 3/8” thick solid steel for stability.

Constructed from A10 cold rolled steel. All Heirloom Modern products are hand-fabricated from scratch in Richmond, California.

Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life - work for yourself and you’ll have very blurry work/life boundaries and think about work when you’re in the woods looking for mushrooms. Oh baby! What a WCC! I’m really pleased to have had the opportunity to meet so many nice folks. Thanks for following me and I promise to post cool stuff for you. I can’t remember the last time I worked so hard and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything worked out. Special thanks to , Nicky Holmes, and for your help. I literally could not have done it without you.

Dreamy toys under the big top! Always working, rarely posting. Here’s a project from a little while back for and their new Mill Valley location. Super sweet clients with a really cute store and a really neat project. Thanks to for the cone CAD help, for the cutting and excellent (very difficult) rolling, for the referral and initial design. This piece had some real challenges. It turns out cones are a pretty tricky thing to fabricate properly. It took some custom tooling from a crane arm for the lift to some very specialized mounting hardware.

I love this sort of work where there are new challenges to consider and new tricks to dream up to accomplish clean lines. Tell a friend if they have interesting work that needs doing.
