PixelWho is an art project that aims to re-interpret characters from the classic and modern BBC science Fiction series Doctor Who in classic 8-bit computer game graphic style as original artwork. It is an attempt to be the most complete catalog of Doctor Who characters in order to celebrate the creativity and dedication of all the artists who have worked on the program over the last 50 years. The

overall goal is to document every character, both significant and incidental, from every Doctor's respective movie/series runs. Nathan freeze frames DVDs and scours episode screen captures in order to recreate each character accurately and roughly to scale. Every pixel is individually laid by hand; no computer conversion program is used. His art is a true labor of love which requires dedication and time. For example his 10th Doctor poster took 5 months of work to create. The lost episodes of William Hartnell’s (the 1st Doctor’s) era were recreated by referencing production photos, telesnaps, and promotional materials. We're at New York Comic Con 2025 for our 9th year at Booth 2277! We had a medical emergency that delayed our arrival initially for set-up, but we're so glad we were able to ultimately make it so that we could show off our newest piece: "K-Pop Demon Pixels"

Help seal the Honmoon with PixelWho’s NYCC 2025 Exclusive print! You'll be feeling 'Golden' :wink wink: with our latest piece, "K-Pop Demon Pixels" based on Netflix's smash hit 'K-Pop Demon Hunters'. Featuring Huntrix's Rumi, Mira, and Zoey about to battle a slew of demons in front of their adoring fans during a sold out concert. Per usual there are multiple Easter eggs hidden throughout, including Huntrix light wands within the audience, Honmoon background, brooding Jinu, and everyone's favorite supernatural creatures ... Derpy and Sussie. Done in PixelWho's unique style by Nathan Skreslet, each pixel is placed individually as with all his artwork and is a limited and numbered run of 50. Perfect for those Huntrix fans who are playing those songs in an incessant loop to do their part and keep Gwi-Ma at bay.

We’re here for this weekend, with 1.5 days left to the show. If you haven’t found us yet, we’re in the Premier Artist section - Booth 1233. It has been a flurry of activity, getting to meet new fans and some long-time ones that are expanding their collection. This show is local for us, and we’re thrilled to represent and business. 🛍️

We have a number of new con premiering pieces, along with some updated evergreen pieces. FYI - We are running severely short of our TARDIS and will likely sell out.

It’s my Hitchhiker’s Guide (aka 42nd) Birthday!!! 🥳 My life has been nothing that I could have predicted, and it continues to surprise me with my current path.

I was the weirdo growing up (still am one), but I count myself incredibly lucky in finding friends and found family who simply appreciated me being my authentic self in my adult years.

Thank you to our fans. Your support and encouragement are major reasons why we travel around the country having convention adventures. My life simply would have been vastly different without y’all, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. 😊

Thank you to my friends and family, especially to the ones that saw me through my darkest days and still supported me. I am eternally thankful that in the varied mix of humans I get to call friends from all over the world, that the one shared trait is kindness amongst them all. ✨

To my partner of 18+ years, thanks for coming along to all my grand adventures no matter how big or small. And for loving me with my never ending randomness and excitability. ❤️

After a hiatus our online shop is back up and updated to include items that were previously only available at conventions! To celebrate the re-opening and to thank y’all for the patience, we’re doing a 30% sale across the entire shop through March, 25th - discount automatically applied (no code needed.)

We premiered our newest console room creation at Gallifrey One 2025 a few weeks ago … the 1st and 2nd Doctors’ in classic black & white. We also have our TARDIS Pride print and the 14th-15th console room previously not available online. The updated 17 Doctors, Disney princesses and villains, and Robotech are now listed as well … along with a couple of show-only prints. Spending Oct 17-20 at Booth 2277 at New York Comic Con where we're premiering our long-awaited addition to our Disney print series, ‘The Pixels of All Evil – Vol 2’. Featuring 59 unique baddies and henchmen starting from Disney’s 1999 Tarzan film to the 2016 Zootopia movie release, it is the third installment to our Princesses and Villains series. As always it has some pretty deep cuts included, and they all get the art style of individually placed pixels that will bring a smile to any Disney-phile and especially those that have an eagle eye. It is a limited and numbered run and is PixelWho’s NYCC 2024 Exclusive. If you missed the other two prints we now have variants of the ‘Once Upon a Pixel’ Disney Princesses and ‘The Pixels of All Evil – Vol 1’ available to help you finish up your collection.

We’re also premiering the 14th-15th Doctors’ TARDIS console room, featuring a hemispherical room populated by hundreds of roundels. It ended up becoming one of the most challenging ever console rooms for Nathan to render in individual pixels, and shows vastness and depth in a fully lit room with almost no shadowing to help. We’ve also updated the evergreen ‘Every Doctor’ piece and ‘Every Dalek’ poster (see if you can find the disco dalek 🪩) Along with Doctor Who there are the Star Trek bridge series art prints and the Robotech Remix interlocking comic covers that we had done with Titan Comics. The Robotech Remix includes some never-before-seen art. Whew, we’ve been busy.

If you’d like to get a reprieve from the crowds, come and step into Booth 2277 and get lost in our world of pixels. 🎨 We love talking geek with others and are always thrilled to meet long-standing and new fans alike. We encourage everyone to stand and stare for a while, you’ll be amazed at what you find among the artwork.

We’re at Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend in Artist Alley Table I1, happening Sept 20-22nd, 2024! It’s Day 2 and it has been lovely coming across longtime and new fans of PixelWho alike. While it’s our 11th year here, this is the show’s 25th anniversary! Come by and say hi, we love talking geeky.
