Are you brave enough to board Richmond's Eerie Canal Halloween Cruises? 👻🛶

Join Riverfront Canal Cruises October 30–November 1 for three nights of spooky, family-friendly fun along Downtown Richmond's Canal Walk with Riverfront Canal Cruises!

🎨 NEW THIS YEAR: Mural Monsters! Something mysterious is happening along Richmond's riverfront, and we need YOUR help to solve the case!

Climb aboard for a hauntingly narrated adventure along the historic James River and Kanawha Canal as you investigate reports of strange and monstrous sightings. Follow colorful clues, uncover spooky surprises and keep your eyes peeled for mysterious creatures lurking along the way. Can you identify the Mural Monsters before your journey ends?

🍭 Little ghosts and ghouls will receive a special candy treat!

📆 Friday, October 30–Sunday, November 1, 5–9 PM
🚤 20-minute cruises depart every half hour, with the last boat leaving at 8:30 PM

🚧 Mayo Bridge Resurfacing Begins Oct. 13

The City of Richmond will resurface the Mayo Bridge Oct. 13-23, weather permitting, with daily work and lane closures from 9 AM-6 PM. One lane in each direction will remain open during construction, with temporary traffic controls and posted detours in place.

Once resurfacing is complete, the bridge will shift from four lanes to a two-lane pilot configuration, with one travel lane in each direction and full-width shoulders. The change is designed to reduce speeds, improve pedestrian comfort and safety, support upcoming construction on the Manchester Canal Bridge and Hull Street, and collect traffic data to inform future Mayo Bridge replacement planning.

Drivers should slow down, stay alert and follow all posted traffic controls when traveling through the work zone.
