A week of somewhat normal routine was just what the doctor ordered ☀️🤩👯‍♀️🌟⛱️ I’m a smidge unsettled with my large vessels that came of of the kiln this week. I’ll share them once I get some good photos that actually represent the colors well but you can see some sneak peeks in this stack. It’s hard to work on something for so long for it to come out and not be immediately satisfied. So I’ll sit with them for a minute and see how they grow on me before I share them. Also the garden is gardening this week and I’m so thrilled 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I’ve got who’s it’s and what’s it’s galore 🧜‍♀️

it was a weird week, but a good one. I pulled my squiggles from the kiln. I had to fire them in a really funky way that I’ve never done before and surprisingly it worked! Which isn’t something I can always say. Also fired the first big planter and finished the week working on a personal gift for my aunt and uncle. Happy weekend yall!

I spent 2 weeks away from this space filling my soul with wild inspiration and a much needed breath of fresh air. My mind is a whirlwind of thoughts and ideas and I can’t wait to see how they all trickle down. Making space for this trip wasn’t easy and it definitely didn’t go as smoothly on the home front as we had hoped. But we did it and we’re all better for it ❤️❤️

What was 4 is now 3. This bug lady exploded on Friday and I walked out of the studio and haven’t been back in because I can’t handle the disappointment. But that’s pots and pots break and we move on. Pottery is forever teaching me to slow down. Someday I’ll learn but until then I’ll get the shop vac out to clean this mess up and load another one.

✨Hello 2025 ✨What an absolute mess so far… We’re off to a bumpy start to say the least. I find it hard to come out of the grief of tragedy all around and make pots. But I’ve learned that the creative process is the best way for me to process life. So here I am heading into the week thinking about vase forms. I like to spend a week (or 2) at the beginning of each year making molds. Maybe a new form or remaking old molds that need to be retired. This year I have some special vase forms in mind. A giant mess is on the horizon 🙂‍↔️ Feeling beyond thankful for my space and the ability to create today. All the love folks. ❤️

Thank you from the warmest part of my heart for your support this year. I ghosted my practice at the beginning of the year but you all helped me round out the year with a bang 🥰 wishing you all a happy holiday 🌲 I’ll be hibernating for the next two weeks which means a studio deep clean, plotting and planning the new year and most importantly time with my people. Cheers to you all and see you in the other side🥂
