Meet the cast and creative team of 's upcoming production of THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG!

One of “the funniest plays Broadway has ever seen!” (The Huffington Post), this slapstick comedy asks if the show must go on - if the set is falling down around you. It’s opening night for the cast of Cornley Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor! But as soon as the curtain goes up, everything that can go wrong…does! Physical comedy, non-stop pandemonium, and a cast of increasingly frantic actors - it’s a night of theatre the audience will never forget - even if the cast wishes they did.

Fall classes are coming soon at ! Starting September 19, our popular class for pre-k through 2nd graders, MOVE WITH ME!, returns in our education space at 23 W. Broad! Designed by theater professionals, MOVE WITH ME! is a supportive space to laugh, learn, and express yourselves. Get creative, get active, and learn fun ways to play together at home. Body-positive and perfect for all skill levels! All families are welcome!

Duration: 1 hour long
Type of course: Drop-in class - attend as many as you like, each class is a self contained experience

Throughout the season, we strive to provide a diversity of programming for our patrons—and we know not every show is for every person. We are thrilled when audiences take a chance on a production that may not be familiar to them, and enjoy their experience.

We are honored to be able to provide a chance for Richmond audiences to see such a moving, new show, for the first time outside of Chicago or New York. If you haven’t taken a chance yet on LITTLE BEAR RIDGE ROAD - we have three weekends remaining.

Introducing Dominic Wall - 's new Marketing and Patron Services Associate! An enormous WELCOME - we are so happy to have him on the team!

Dominic is a Richmond-based storyteller, community builder, and arts advocate with a passion for connecting people through creativity and conversation. Before joining Virginia Rep, he spent eight years with Henrico County Public Schools, building meaningful relationships with students, families, and the community.

A lifelong performer, Dominic brings more than 20 years of improv and theater experience to the team, using humor, collaboration, and creativity to engage audiences both on and off the stage. He is also the co-founder and co-host of Embrace Matters of Richmond, a podcast and community platform dedicated to celebrating the people, stories, and organizations that make Richmond special. He is excited to help share Virginia Rep’s stories and welcome even more audiences into the magic of live theater.

There is so much amazing theatre to celebrate from this past season all around Richmond! We’re incredibly proud to see VA Rep’s productions and artists recognized with 35 nominations for the 2026 Artsies.

Most of all, we’re grateful to everyone who filled our theatres, supported our artists, and made this past season so meaningful. It’s a joy to celebrate the Richmond theatre community and the endlessly engaging work of so many talented theatre-makers. Congratulations to all the nominees, and a special shout-out to those representing VA Rep’s shows!
