A little over two months until this year’s Summer Dance Intensive! 🥳 Have you registered yet?!

We are excited to once again be partnering with St. Catherine’s School’s Brilliant Summer to offer intermediate and advanced dancers in grades 7-12 the opportunity to develop their dance technique and express themselves creatively during the summer.

The week will include daily technique classes in Modern and Ballet, as well as supplemental classes such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Salsa and Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS). In addition to technique, dancers will spend time honing their artistic voices in improvisation and composition classes, and developing their performance skills in repertory rehearsals. The intensive will conclude with a performance for family and friends. Register at the link in our bio to join us! 🕺🏻🕴️💃🏻

Intensive Details:
•June 22-26 / 8:45am-3:45pm
•St. Catherine’s School / 6001 Grove Avenue, RVA
•$450 Tuition

We are absolutely devastated to share the passing of our sweet Julia. Company member, dancer, choreographer, teacher, and most importantly, friend, Julia was a cherished member of our dance family and we are heartbroken to have lost her. It feels impossible to put into words just how incredible she was, but if you had the privilege of spending any amount of time with her, you already know. She was the most beautiful dancer, oftentimes taking your breath away and always leaving you in awe. She was a gifted choreographer, offering her unique perspective through visceral, soul-baring, boundary pushing art. But most of all, she was the best human, kind, caring, supportive, generous, constant, ambitious, creative, funny, smart, passionate, inspired, inspiring, and on and on and on and on. Julia was so special and so loved by so many. She made a profound impact on our company and the entire Richmond dance community. We miss her every day and don’t quite know what the future looks like without her, but one thing is certain, she’d want us to keep dancing and connecting and making art. So we’ll do our best, always with her in our hearts. We love you Julia. 🤍
