As I’ve moved through life perfecting my craft, I have given out an immense amount of paintings. Whether it be a painted landscape, an acrylic pour, or my resin art, there are hundreds of gifted artworks out there.
But imagine my surprise when I checked into a doctor’s appointment this morning and discovered a piece I made for my family’s P*P a few years ago after my dad passed. This doctor has known me since I was a baby and is the one very positive reason why my dad lived as long as he did. Today, in the new office, my doctor smiled and said it was being hung up in the room we were in, overlooking a neighborhood in Charlottesville, VA.

My art has always been and always will be to spread kindness and love to those who do so much for others. This made my day today and I’m so grateful. ❤️

I’ve been a bit quieter than I normally would be prior to a market, but it’s been a little bit of a struggle. I very sadly lost one of by bunnies, Sonny, last Saturday. Anyone who knows me knows how important my bunnies are to me and that Sonny was an especially special bun, from his origin story to why I got to adopt him to our unyielding bond.
We all grieve in different ways and in our own time. For me, having these small mementos brings me comfort. This is something I do for myself and also for my friends who have lost their loved ones. If it brings us peace, let it.
