We’ve lost one of our own this week, and our whole crew is hurting 💔
When Tam entered a room, she knew no stranger. She was the type of person that made you feel comfortable in your skin just by being authentically herself. Tam lead with confidence and compassion, and was kind to every living creature she met. She had an innate passion for the natural world, and was a steward of the environment.
Tam loved all things circus and performing arts. You could rely on her to bring the whimsy, and all of the silly, every time. Tam was impressively talented at every fire prop she picked up, and had the type of stage presence that would leave you in a trance. When she was in the air on silks or Lyra, her flow was captivating, seemingly effortless. She floated like a fairy. Tam was a graceful, elegant, and powerful dancer.
She was an extremely hard worker, sometimes showing up to help build events she couldn’t even participate in. She just loved her community that much and wanted to be helpful in anyway she could. If Tam could be there, she was. Working hard in difficult conditions with no complaints and and a smile on her face. She wanted to see everyone she loved succeed and made great efforts to make that happen.
Tam, you have left an ever-burning imprint on PLF, the performance community, Richmond, and the world as a whole. We promise to carry your flame with us everywhere we go, and to honor your legacy by being a little more like you in our day to day. Thank you for showing us your love, and letting us love you. Until we dance again, sweet girl. 🔥❤️🔥🔥
