We are still counting everything, getting auction items to their new homes, etc., but we think we raised roughly $22,000 on Wes Freed Day!

The Friends are meeting next week to figure out how much we made exactly, so stay tuned for the final tally but we can't thank everyone enough for this incredible showing of love! We are just blown away by the response!

We here at Friends of Wes Freed are still reeling from the weekend!

Thank you to everyone who came out!
Thank you and crew for such a smooth running show!
Thank you to all of our volunteers! We could not have done it with out you!
Thank you to all of the artists and other donors who made our auction so successful!
Thank you to all of the Bands that rocked The Canal Club!
Thank you Patterson Hood for closing out the show and sending us all home with our hearts full.

And Thank You to all who have believed in our cause! The love was so palpable on Saturday.
We can't thank everyone enough.❤❤❤❤

Online Auction Spotlight!
This 16 x 20" oil on canvas from artist Lisa Perilli:
who wrote that "She’s grateful for having been part of the old, smaller art school in old, smaller Richmond where a decades old friendship with Wes was entwined by art, subculture, bands, and movies. Her love of boarded up buildings and diamonds in the rough is represented here, a moon added in memory of Wes."
