On The Air Radio Players The On The Air Radio Players keep the vintage art of radio theater alive through performances recorded before a live studio audience.

For over twenty-five years, On the Air Radio Players (OTARP) have kept the Golden Age of Radio alive onstage in the Greater Richmond, Virginia community. With an ever-evolving team of talented voice actors and creative sound effects artists drawn from the local community, OTARP presents classic and original old time radio shows in the style in which they were originally performed, and records them

live before our studio audience at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. OTARP performs three shows a year at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, usually in late Winter, late Spring, and the Fall. Lisa Carter has appeared in previous OTARP shows, but this is her first time directing one. She most recently appeared in "Into the Woods" with CCT, and is a founding member of the Watermelon Otter Players. She would like to thank Jake, her parents, this wonderful cast, and you the audience.

Meet the cast of On the Air Radio Players’ upcoming production: "An Hour of Dimension X":

John Witt has appeared in four OTARP shows. He caught the acting bug in kindergarten, graduating to community theater, Shakespearean repertory, and teaching high school drama before accidentally falling into a career in journalism. Returning to acting in retirement, his screen credits range from Spielberg’s "Lincoln" to Virginia Lottery commercials.

Maxfield Slatton is happy to be a part of his first production with OTARP. Max is an actor based in Richmond. Recent roles include Claudio in "Much Ado About Nothing" and Peter Pan in "Shrek the Musical." In his free-time he likes singing, dancing, keeping secrets, service, and Oxford commas.

Meet the cast of On the Air Radio Players’ upcoming production: "An Hour of Dimension X":

Robyn (she/her) is excited to join OTARP again. A William and Mary ('11) graduate, Robyn performed in the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Revolutionary City, and the Virginia Theatre Machine. Returning to Richmond’s theater scene after a decade on the West Coast, she can be seen at Reveler and in upcoming Ravenchase events.
