Advice to younger dancers.
Don’t hold back even if it feels embarrassing and don’t be scared to make mistakes.

Where you are going after graduation.
I’m going to Purdue University Fort Wayne.

Brooklynn,
No matter where life leads you next, you will always have a home at DTCD… and we will always be proud to call you one of ours!

I have been dancing at DTCD for nine years, ever since I was in fifth grade. Through dance, I have learned discipline, confidence, and how to express myself on stage. Some of my favorite memories include performing in my first concert, wearing a beautiful costume, and feeling both nervous and excited. DTCD has shaped me as both a dancer and a person, and I am grateful for every moment I have spent here.

After graduation, I will be attending Indiana University East to continue my studies.

Yuhi,
You’ve poured your heart into every performance. May your next chapter be filled with purpose, passion, and joy.

I have been at Dance Techniques since I was 3 years old and this is still one of the hardest things I have had to do. Saying goodbye to dance has been a process I have been dreading.

Not only has dance taught me technique, it’s taught me how to build real friendships and connections. When I say my second family is here I truly mean it. Even though I am graduating I will always remember the recital and competition memories!

Thank you dance Techniques for making my dance experience so great!

Chloe,
You will forever be a huge part of our DTCD family!
I’ve loved watching you grow up in our studio!

Favorite memory at DTCD:
my favorite memory at dance techniques was when I met my best friend Jayden Johnson for the first time. I grew up dancing with her my entire life. I would never ask for a better friend and I’m so glad that I made that memories with her.

Advice to younger dancers:
My advice to younger members are to never give up. it may get stressful at times but as long as you continue and have a positive mindset, it’ll build you for the future.

Where I am going after graduation:
Charlotte plans to attend Ball State University to pursue her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology, followed by a doctoral degree in Pediatric Occupational Therapy.

Charlotte, Thank you for being part of the studio and sharing your talent with us. Wishing you the very best in all you do!

🩷Ms. Cheryl
