We definitely have a full card on tonight's TasteBudz and Travel. Jesse Andrews from Citizen Burger Bar Carytown is going to talk about their amazing burgers and what, with Tuesday being National Onion Ring Day, we are going to have to talk a bit about their beer battered onion rings.
Also Bobby Kruger will be joining us to talk about this weekend's fantastic line up of music. On Friday night, Brambly Park After Dark features one of my favorite local bands, Brambly Park After Dark Presents: Alice & The Reverie. BTW, we just might have the band on the show one Thursday Night soon. Wouldn't that be cool.
Chris McNeil joins us to share some cool news about his upcoming Crabs & Beer by the James event in August and Tameka Martinez will be on hand. She's with one of the best new barbecue joints in town - Boni Roni BBQ.

What great guests we had on our show last night. If you’re trying to plan your weekend social calendar, here are some suggestions I picked up last night:
Nichole Inkel, the new owner of Windy Hill Golf Course told us that they’re having a huge grand opening starting at 7a. m. Saturday morning. I’m heading out that way, myself. Then, it’s on to Crazy Rooster Brewing Company In Powhatan. Co-owner, Jason Miller said they’re having a big bluegrass shindig out there tomorrow. A little blue grass and golden beverages go well together.
Speaking of golden beverages, don’t forget the Beer Festival at George Washington's Mount Vernon on June 19 and 20. Matt Briney , Who is the vice president, media and communications, there, was also a guest on the show last night and from what he tells me, this is going to be one fantastic event.

Hey, I’ve discovered a new BBQ place on Mountain Road in Glen Allen. It’s Boni Roni BBQ. Check ‘em out. Best hush puppies on earth. Great BBQ, too. I’m hoping to have the folks from there on next Thursday’s show.

Boy, what a lineup we have for this Thursday's TasteBudz and Travel. Jared, the Beer Guy, is my guest co-host. I'm not sure what all he has in store, but I do know we'll be speaking with some of the folks from Kindred Spirit Brewing. Also Mark Cline, the mastermind behind the Dinosaur Kingdom II in Natural Bridge will be on hand. We'll be offering discounts to The Dinosaur Kingdom, Natural Bridge Zoo and the Caverns at Natural Bridge on the Shopping Shows, so stay tuned for that.
