Join us for our July Freight Train & Friends Songwriter Round, next Thursday, 7/23 at (6-9).

Americana music has been defined as “...a blend of various American roots traditions. Specifically, it encompasses elements of country, folk, blues, soul, bluegrass, gospel, and rock, creating a rich tapestry of sounds and styles that reflect the diverse musical heritage of the United States.” We’re thrilled to highlight these Songwriters joining us this month:
Justin Golden
Ramona Martinez
Emily Woodhull

Each of these songwriters brings a unique perspective to the Americana sound: Hear the stories that have inspired these Artists and their songs and experience the many paths that connect our musical traditions.

Reflecting back on our showcase room in New Orleans earlier this year: One artist that joined our line-up was Asheville-based and she captivated the room with her vocals. We cannot wait to host her again tomorrow night, as part of our monthly Songwriter Round at : .hadley and are also on tomorrow’s line-up (it will be a bit of a Folk Alliance reunion). For the May Songwriter event, we are welcoming one of our NC artist friends, to RVA. This will be a bit of a Folk Alliance Showcase reunion, so hope you join us for this special night of music; .hadley and will be part of this month’s line-up.

At our last Songwriter Round at Gramophone Winery, a guest shared with us that attending the round was a lot like enjoying a wine flight: Variety, discovery, and artistry are what you’ll experience at these Winery Songwriter Rounds.

We were honored to collaborate with on curating a special night of music/art for one of this week’s evening events. There is space for thoughtful & intentional design in Corporate Events: Incorporating original music and art transforms an event into a unique experience. We hope the attendees of the Conference discover their new favorite artists this week - RVA is rich in creativity.

Tonight is open to the public and is free to attend: We hope to see you at (6:00-8:00 pm). Vasen is releasing a new beer tonight (Raspberry Margarita Otter) and TBT El Gallo’s food truck will be onsite.
