The past week was a blur. Preparing for Richmond Open was intense. Building display boards and plasma guns; painting commissions and booknooks... days with little to no sleep. I was so busy I got almost 0 pics. Had to ask Jackson for the few he snapped during his visit to help at my booth. I took 2 painting classes and painted my first bust (running on an hour and a half of sleep) and apparently I CAN paint gud, lol. I even did overnight special orders for 2 plasma guns, and well, that pic of Baron of Dice speaks for itself. I got to judge the Secret Painting Competition again, always special. I was asked to judge the big Warhammer 40k army painting competition for the first time, I learned a TON in such a short time, it was awesome. I worked so hard on display boards and one of them made it on the table for that competition, his army was a perfect fit. 2 days before the con I decided I wanted something quick and fun for the 40k guys to engage them at my table, I thought doing made to order Purity Seals would be fun and maybe I'd sell a few. I underestimated these guys, they LOVED them and I was sold out by the end. Shoutout to my client turned friend, Taylor, for holding down the fort when I had to leave my booth.
