Sekiro, ink on paper.

A quick illustration of the main character from one of my favorite games, Sekiro. Its reputation for being extremely difficult is warranted, but for my money it has the best combat system anyone has come up with.

Up from the ashes! I’m working on repairing the Piranha Plant sculpture kitten broke last fall, and it’s looking good. I needed to reinforce some of the more delicate parts so I’m adding thorns and another te****le. Soon I’ll need to figure out how to display it so this doesn’t happen again…

Recently watched: The Ritual.

Incredible film. It starts out conventionally enough with four friends on a hiking trip, but the situation quickly devolves when one of them gets injured. From that point the movie nods politely at Blair Witch Project then marches the viewer straight into full blown cosmic horror. It also features one the most upsetting pieces of creature design I’ve seen in years. Bravo.

On this Friday the 13th I present the final picture I took of the Familiar before I shipped it off to California. A continent between me and it seems sufficient distance. This thing always hated me.
