Stage, Screen, and Scares: Meet the legendary Susan Kellermann! ๐ค
Susan Kellermann is known for her versatile work across stage, film, and television. Horror fans know her as Patty, the uptight, prudish antagonist in "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark" (1988), where her self-righteous small-town attitude perfectly clashes with Elviraโs campy charm. She also appeared as Grace in Tim Burtonโs "Beetlejuice," along with memorable roles in "Death Becomes Her," "Last Holiday," "Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl," "Planes, Trains & Automobiles," "Boys and Girls," "The Devilโs Advocate," and "The Secret of My Success."
She made her Broadway debut in 1979 in "Last Licks," earning a Theatre World Award and marking her arrival in the theater world with major acclaim.
On television, Kellermann is recognized for playing Greta Gravas, mother of Latka Gravas, on "Taxi." Her TV career began with appearances on "Starsky and Hutch" and "Laverne & Shirley" in the mid-1970s, leading to decades of guest-starring roles.
