Our artist lineup for Potterypalooza 2026 is here! As it stands were are sitting at 35 ceramic art booths, with close to 40 artists.

Potterypalooza is an annual ceramic arts festival at the Richmond Art Museum in Richmond, Indiana. This festival invites regional ceramic artists to come display and sell their handmade works. The day features live music, food, pottery wheel demonstrations, and a kids clay zone.

Ceramic art has a rich history within our community with the Overbeck Sisters being from Wayne County. This festival is a way to honor that heritage and host a fun event in our community.

Come spend the day with us out on the front lawn at the Richmond Art Museum on Saturday, September 12 from 10am - 4pm!

Potterypalooza is an annual festival at the Richmond Art Museum in Richmond, Indiana that celebrates ceramic art. This is always a community favorite, bringing over 1,000 people to the museum to purchase handmade ceramics from regional artists. This will be our largest event ever with nearly 40 artists signed up to sell art. The day is free to attend and also includes live music, wheel demonstrations, a kids clay zone, and food on site.

Ceramic art holds a special place for RAM with the Overbeck Sisters being from our county. This year, we will have a special exhibit on display inside the museum during Potterypalooza. Bob Ammerman has been collecting Overbeck Pottery for over 60 years saying, “very few people get the opportunity to collect something made in their hometown” which inspired him to begin collecting. Many pieces from his private collection will be in the display cases inside the Richmond Art Museum for you to enjoy during Potterypalooza!

We will see you out on the lawn September 12th!

Happy First Day of Class to the students at Earlham College! The Richmond Art Museum in partnership with The Richmond Symphony Orchestra set up chalk board murals on campus for the 3rd year in The Heart on Earlham campus.

These murals give students a place to create in a collaborative way and enjoy the transformation of art each time they walk by. This is a fun way for our two organizations to partner with students in our community and highlight the importance of the arts.
