St. Louis Storytell presents “The First Time“

Friends of St. Louis Storytell:

This spring marks nine years of Storytelling events for us, and for the first time we will be cancelling an event last minute. The event that was supposed to be this Saturday, Feb. 23 will no longer be happening. As many of you know Storytell is currently run by Jennifer Wainscott and a few close friends. This weekend Jenn broke her leg and had to subsequently have surgery. We are thankful that today she was able to go home from the hospital, but our little team simply can't put on the event next weekend.

What some of you may not know is how much work we put into each event on the front end. We were able to hold workshops with potential storytellers, and see two potential creative team members do workshops for the first time. We are sad not to see this round of storytellers on stage, but grateful that we were still able to do good "story work" and build our team.

We are sorry for those of you who were counting on attending Saturday. You will get a full refund from The Greenfinch (ticket app Purple Pass).

The guys at The Greenfinch have graciously offered to show the St. Louis CITY SC game. All of us from the Storytell team who are able will be there, and would love the chance to hang and get to know some of you. Looking forward to trying their signature CITY cocktail!
