Another collaboration with Blake Doss at Doss Custom Leather... he keeps coming up with things he wants for his shop and I keep coming up with things I want from his shop!😆 It works out nicely that way! Here are some shelf brackets he requested. I can't show off all the awesome things I got at his shop because they are Christmas gifts. BUT, if you are heading to or through Abingdon, VA between now and Christmas, you've GOT to check out his new store. A new owl came out of the shop last weekend for my father-in-law's bday. I have a couple more hand saws on the shelf if anyone is interested. Hopefully with cooler weather on the way we'll be out in the shop a little more often.

Got a request for something a little different. These door handles are going into a new storefront being built in Abingdon, Virginia.

I met Blake Doss while looking for someone to reupholster the seat in my truck. After picking up my beautifully remade seat, he contacted me for some door handles. Hopefully this set will fit the esthetic of his new place. Blake did an amazing job on my seat and I can't wait to have more of his leatherwork in my truck! Check out his website:

I might be biased, but I think Sam made a gorgeous ulu! Made from an old saw blade with composite material for the handle. He also made the sheath to make sure no one loses any fingers.😉

A fun project and really happy with how he turned out! Sometimes it's really nice to have a request for something you would have never thought of doing on your own. This guy is lake bound. 🙂🌊🛟🛥

I hit the headlight jackpot today. If anyone is interested in a little bot of any sort, let me know and I'll shoot you an estimate. Sample photos included. I have small, medium, and large sizes that I was lucky enough to get at random shops today. Generally they run from $100 up. As usual, any requests are just that.... until a project is finished and you are in love, there are no commitments to buy unless you are requesting something very unique that won't have mass appeal.

Finally made it out to the workshop for a little bit. Trying to stick to a little lighter weight work these days. This little reader was made from a mining helmet light plus some other "stuff", lol.
