Have a student involved with Academy of Children’s Theatre? Join us for our Booster Club Info Night and learn how you can get involved, connect with other ACT families, and help support the experiences we create for our young performers.

We’re excited to build on our Booster Club, and we want our ACT families to help shape what it looks like! Whether you have lots of time to give or can only help occasionally, there are plenty of ways to be involved.

Our Frozen cast and crew had an absolute BLAST walking in the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo Parade!

From snowmen to princesses, our Frozen family brought a little Arendelle magic to the streets of the Kennewick—and we loved getting to see so many familiar faces along the way! ❄️

A huge thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, shouted “Let It Go,” and helped make parade day so much fun! 💙

We’re counting down the days until these incredible young performers bring the magic of Arendelle to our stage! ❄️💙

For Ryan, being an ACT Mentor has offered a chance to see what happens behind the scenes — and just how much teamwork goes into making theatre happen.

After sitting in on a faculty meeting, Ryan got a firsthand look at the collaboration, communication, and cooperation that keep ACT moving.

One of the most important lessons in working with young performers is learning to meet them where they are.

Rose experienced that firsthand when a student who typically didn’t participate happily joined in a scene after being given the space they needed.

Through mentorship, our students are developing more than theatre skills — they’re learning patience, empathy, leadership, and how to help others shine. 💙

Making a phone call may seem like a small task — until it’s something that makes you nervous!

For Kaylyn, making a call in the ACT office became a confidence-building moment. What started out stressful ended with the realization that office work wasn’t so scary after all — it was actually fun!

From working with students to learning behind-the-scenes skills, our mentors are encouraged to try new things, challenge themselves, and discover just how capable they are. 💛
