Yesterday’s Bingo was wonderful! Walter Williams was a sweet patron of Richland Senior Center and a beloved member of our community. Walter’s wife, Peri, has been a blessing to our seniors through years of hosting craft classes and making favors for our events, asked to host our Bingo for August in memory of Walter. Walter loved a good Bingo game and even won- what we believe to be a record- EIGHT games in one day! Perri gave a generous supply of amazing bingo prizes and served Walter’s favorite dessert, Italian Cream Cake (from A Special Touch, IYKYK) and Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream. It was a good day, one Walter himself would have thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you, Perri. The Richland Senior Center will always miss and love you, Walter.”

Our crafters never fail to impress us! 🍂🎨
For our August craft, our seniors used pinecones, sweet gum balls, and a little paint to create beautiful fall collages. Each creation is unique and full of personality, just like the talented individuals who made them!

🧮 BINGO TODAY at the Richland Senior Center! 🧮

Join us this afternoon for a very special Bingo hosted by our own Perri Williams in loving memory of her husband, Walter L. Williams.

🇺🇸 Thursday, August 27 | 1:00 PM 🇺🇸
Mr. Walter proudly served with the SMS Civil Engineer Squadron, and today Perri is bringing together a few things that reflect his life and memory for an afternoon of Bingo, prizes, friendship, and fun.

We hope you will join us as we play a few rounds and help Perri celebrate his wonderful life. ❤️

Richland Senior Travelers had a great time on their recent trip, “A Day in Historic Natchez,”, planned by Lance Clay with Trek Travel Programs. We toured Dunleith Mansion, The Basilica of Saint Mary, and the First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson, Mississippi. We enjoyed a five-course meal at Frankie’s on Main and braved the heat to shop downtown! It was a super hot day, but the bus was cool, and we stayed hydrated. Thank you, Natchez, for all your hospitality!
