The Bangles frontwoman on her new album, Prince, Bob Weir, and keeping the eternal flame alive.

“We had a very thrift-store aesthetic,” she says. “We kept trying to drag the Sixties kicking and screaming into the Eighties, but we were just scrappy. The Go-Go’s were more polished — I don’t know if it was the tutus or whatever. They were so great. I think we wanted to separate ourselves. But it worked — we could do super-melodic emotional songs and we weren’t shoegazery at all.”

Bangles frontwoman Susanna Hoffs goes deep on her new album 'The List, Prince, Bob Weir, and keeping the eternal flame alive.

Today, the music world lost a legend. 💔

Dolly Parton was so much more than an extraordinary singer and songwriter. She was a storyteller, trailblazer, philanthropist, actress, businesswoman and an unmistakable American original whose music connected generations.

From Jolene and Coat of Many Colors to 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You, Dolly gave the world songs that became part of our collective soundtrack. Beyond the stage, her generosity and commitment to literacy through the Imagination Library created a legacy measured not only in music, but in millions of lives touched.

Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival joins music fans around the world in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Dolly Parton, 1946–2026.

Thank you for the songs, the stories, the laughter and the love. 🌼🎶

Rest in peace, Dolly.
