As part of our efforts to make classical vocal music accessible to the next generations, we explore opportunities for the young students to apply their learning in real life occasions - family and community celebrations, in addition to our formal, annual, classical music recital.

In February, we are blessed with an opportunity to sing for Mahadev at the Radha Krishna Temple in Allen on this Maha-Shivratri. Please join us and sing along with our student groups.

Krishna was not born. He has no birthday. He incarnated of His own will when He did.

Yet, many of us, regard his appearance as a newborn in the same manner as the birth of a human baby. We, especially the younger ones, are particularly excited to celebrate his incarnation on Janamashtmi as baby Krishna's birthday.

It was a blessing and an honor for our children to be invited by Radha Krishna Temple in Allen to sing Krishna's many names, His graceful appearance, and His leelas.

May all be happy. Shubh Janamashtmi.

Wonderful!! A recent find... musical connections across vast stretches of the Near East. New research identifies a clear link between Rigveda and Hymn to Nikkal, the oldest surviving musical text dating back to 1500BC, the same timeframe as the Vedas. The study is fascinating since it identifies archeological evidence linking vedic words and music all the way to the eastern mediterranean coast.
