We had an amazing time last night putting on our 43rd annual Recital- Fantasies & Fairytales! We were so proud of all of our dancers, they worked so so hard preparing for this and they did a phenomenal job. From our newest little baby dancers that were so brave and ALL went on the stage and performed so beautifully, to our oldest dancers with our seniors graduating, it was such a special night! I of course did not get pictures as I was running around backstage, but I’ve borrowed a few from dress rehearsal, and from some that have shared them with me! I love each of our girls dearly, and we are so blessed to be able to have them as a part of our Legacy Dance Boutique family!! I realized yesterday that that was our 35th consecutive year to perform at the Granville Arts Theater!! I was in the 1st performance there back in 1988 “Under the Big Top”. Love Miss Melva and the Legacy she began for us back in 1980!!

We had a packed house and probably almost 700 people in attendance!! So fun for the girls to have such a big crowd!!!

Thank you parents for sharing them with us! We treasure each of them! And if you have pictures to share, I would love for you to share them & tag us in them! I know I’m missing a lot of groups so I’d love to see the other pics! 💕💕

Our Santa’s Village performance almost didn’t happen…. But as the old saying goes, THE SHOW MUST GO ON!! When we found out it had been closed for the day, our team sprung into action gathering chairs from all over to be able to put on two shows in our studio! We could not believe the turnout that we had! We filled the studio to the brim twice!! I am so thankful that all of our sweet dancers still got to do this special performance to show off how hard they had worked these past few months! We love our dancers so much so we knew we would do anything to figure things out for them to get to do this show!! I don’t think we could have squeezed any more in than we did! Such a special night- thank you to all of our sweet families!!!

We had an amazing night on Friday putting on our 42nd annual Recital “Let the Games Begin!” This was our 6th year as Legacy Dance Boutique, carrying on Miss Melva’s amazing legacy! So incredibly thankful for all of the families that make up our special dance family. We had a great turnout- almost filled up the entire theatre, and our girls danced their hearts out! We were so incredibly proud of all of our sweet girls, from our brave little preschoolers new to performing on the big stage under the bright lights, to our other dancers who owned the stage with such grace and confidence! My heart is overjoyed with the growth of each of our dancers. We love providing a safe, encouraging place for them to thrive and grow!

I didn’t get pics because we were of course a tad hectic running around back stage, but I have received some that made my heart smile that I wanted to share!

What an amazing time we had dancing at Santa’s Village again this year!! We had a fabulous turnout to cheer us on. I’m so immensely proud of all of our girls. What a special memory for all of these dancers. We’ve been blessed to have performed on this stage for around the past 25 years! Thanks to Brandon Jonquil Hess Wilson for the group pic!
As we now turn our focus to our Spring Recital “Let the Games Begin” we have a few more spots for dancers to join us before we order costumes for that! Those will be ordered soon though so if you are interested in joining our amazing dance family, feel free to reach out to me and I can let you know if we have room in your dancers age group!

What a fun week!!! We had a dance camp for our completed Kinder and 1st graders... and Miss Melva decided to just go ahead and write a musical and teach it to them!! :) They worked so hard all week and did a fabulous job!!! (Miss Melva had to pull in a couple of just past second graders to help fill in the cast- but they loved every minute of it too! :-)). Such a blessing to have so many wonderful families that make up our studio, and to have Miss Melva still teaching with us!!

We had an amazing LIVE Recital last night that left most of us in tears!! So thankful for the blessing of our wonderful dance family! I think we were even more emotional because of the crazy year we have all been through- and getting to experience the joy of all being together and performing in front of a live audience... just left us so emotional!! The girls were absolutely stunning on the stage, and they ALL knew their dances so well!!! I was soooo proud of them!!! Thank you all for your love and support in making our special studio what it is!!
